Judy Anderson

Judy lives and paints in Hamilton, Ontario.

"I have participated in over 100 juried, group, solo, outdoor shows and studio tours. My work is in private and corporate collections in North America, and Europe".

Judy aims to capture interesting landscapes in paint. She works outdoors she can and uses these paintings and drawings as reference for larger studio works. 

"I do not reproduce exactly what I see. These acrylic, mixed media pieces are built up with paper, layers of colour, textures and collage to evoke a memory and feeling of place and perhaps remind you of somewhere you have been".
